Marilee was a strong, nearly fearless woman. She stepped in and raised her siblings when her mother became ill when she was a child. She was in the convent before becoming an ER nurse, and served as a Captain in the United States army where she served as a nurse in Vietnam. She later went on to become a physician, giving birth to her son during her first year of medical school. She was giving and kind. Once dubbed by her mother-in-law "the only poor physician" because she so frequently treated her patients without accepting payment. She started the first AIDS clinic in Arizona, won multiple awards, but even more hearts taking care of people. But she was so much more. She was a poet, and an artist, an English major who would paint and draw and write. She was a loving, supportive wife. She was a mother who would literally sacrifice the clothes off her back for her child. She was a loving grandmother, even before her grandchildren were born.  She was a dear friend, loyal and giving, and, as The Bard once wrote, "though she be but little, she is fierce." She is preceded in death by her mother Kathryn Elaine, her father John, and her brothers Michael and Patrick. She is survived by her husband Sheldon, son Joshua and his wife Sandi, grandchildren Evan and Leah, as well as her sisters Ruth Watkins, Maria Fuiava, and Mary Beth Cabatbat.

Immediately following the service at the chapel (Rubin Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach), guests are invited to join the Glauser family on Sunday only (11/19/2023)  at the residence of Dr. Joshua and Sandi Glauser.
