Barry Bloomfield, a devoted family man, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 4, at the age of 83, in Boynton Beach, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Barry is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marcia, his adored children, Adam, Peter, and Kate, and daughters-in-law, Alison and Megan. His profound love extended to his six cherished grandchildren: Jack, Matthew, Will, Molly, Ben, and Sophia, as well as his twin sister, Beverly Doron.

Born and raised in Passaic, New Jersey, Barry was the son of Sam Bloomfield and Violet Cohen. In 1967, he married his true love, Marcia Shear, embarking on a journey that saw the joyous upbringing of their three children in Wyckoff, NJ. Barry served in the US Military Police in Newark, NJ, showcasing his commitment to duty. His professional journey included roles as a stockbroker and businessman.

Barry's passions were diverse, ranging from his love for fishing to an unwavering enthusiasm for Cuban music. However, his greatest treasure was undoubtedly his family. Barry's infectious spirit and profound love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at 1 p.m. at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel in Paramus, NJ.
