Bernard Victor Meltzer – October 21, 1936 to January 11, 2024

Bernie Meltzer passed away on Thursday, January 11 at the age of 87, in Delray Beach, Florida.  Beloved father of two and grandfather of three, Bernie was born October 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Irving and Anne Meltzer.  In 1957 he married his true love Helene and together they raised two daughters, Mindy and Aimee.  After proudly serving in the Air Force, Bernie went on to a long career as an aircraft mechanic and later a maintenance supervisor for Pan American Airways.  Bernie was one of a kind and lived life on his own terms.  Bernie was predeceased by his infant son Neil, and is survived by Helene, his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, his daughters, his sons-in-law Kenny and Michael whom he loved like sons, and his three beloved grandchildren, Sophie, Max and Abigail.  His greatest treasure was his family, and we will remember him always.

Chapel services will be held on Sunday 1/14/2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Rubin Memorial Chapel: 7340 Boynton Beach, FL 33437
