Carla's Obituary

Dr. Carla Paris Teich, age 69, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024.  Born on February 26, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA, Carla was the daughter of Ruth and Bernard Greifer (Z"L), and the beloved wife of Harry Teich (Z"L).

Carla lived a life filled with love, kindness, and generosity.  A graduate of T.C. Williams High School, The University of Virginia, and The University of Alabama, she became a well-respected Doctor of Optometry, known for her intellect, skill, and dedication to her patients.  Carla found joy in her family above all, and in her involvement with the choir at her synagogue, both by singing and playing her violin.  She loved to frequent garage sales on the weekends, where she found treasures for friends and family alike.

Carla is survived by her son Andrew (Kayla) Paris, and her granddaughter Jade whom she adored, as well as her sisters Helen (Dave) Grimm and Amy (Eddie) Godin and families, and numerous friends who cherished her.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, at Rubin Memorial Chapel, 7340 Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL, at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be private.  The service may be watched online at:
