Beloved wife of the late Marvin Walker, doting daughter of the late Elizabeth (Bess) Shafran and Louis Lonstein, and sister of the late Albert Lonstein, passed away at home, surrounded by her devoted family and a dedicated nursing team.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in the Bronx, Dotti spent her summers in the Borscht Belt, with her fondest memories at her grandparents' farm and inn in Ellenville. She later attended Fairleigh Dickinson College. Together with her husband, Marvin, she owned and operated Marvin's Village Furniture, where she shared her gift as an interior decorator. They made their home in Middletown, NY, where they raised their family and built a life filled with love, tradition, and community.

Dotti was a devoted member of Temple Sinai in Middletown, NY. She gave her time generously as an active member of the Sisterhood, co-president of Hadassah, and faithful volunteer at the temple rummage sale.

Family was always at the center of her life. She made her home a haven of warmth and laughter, whether it was Sunday dinners of steak and spaghetti, afternoons filled with her beautiful needlepoint and ceramics, or hours spent curled up with either a good book or black white movie.

She always had a smile ear to ear when with family whether it was tossing an underhanded basketball or going on a shopping spree with her daughters and grandkids. A natural storyteller, she brought her childhood and former years alive for her grandchildren, passing down family history, traditions, and lessons with humor and heart.

She is survived by her children: Lori Rothman, Shari Cohen, and Sonny Walker and his wife Angie. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and their families: Elisa and her husband Chris, Ian and his wife Lori, Max, Samantha and her husband Eric, Kody and his wife Christina, Logan, Rebecca and her spouse James. Dotti also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, her "special gems": Cash, Mateo, Lily, River, Ayden and Scarlett. She was deeply loved by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Marvin, her parents, Elizabeth (Bess) and Louis, her brother Albert Lonstein, and her devoted son-in-law Barry Rothman.

She will be remembered for her strength, unconditional love, her sharp wit, her generous heart, and a spirited personality that kept everyone on their toes.  Also for having a deep appreciation of the finer things in life and will forever be celebrated for her famous matzah balls, her timeless style, innocent but sneaky little ways and the kind of beauty that turned heads wherever she went.

Funeral Service:
A funeral service will be held at Cedar Park & Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ, on Wednesday September 3rd at 2:00 PM.

New York: Thursday, September 4th, 1:00–3:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM at the home of Shari Cohen, 32 Buckingham Circle, Rock Hill.

Florida: Saturday, September 6th, 6:30–9:00 PM, and Sunday, September 7th, 2:00–4:00 PM at the home of Lori Rothman, 8820 Via Tuscany Dr., Boynton Beach.
