Gilfix, Frances Lee (Goldberg) of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Natick, MA passed away at Deray Medical Center on the morning of Tuesday, March 14, two days shy of her 84 ^th birthday.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Gilfix, her son Michael Rogers, her brother David Goldberg, and sister Joan Tepper.   She is survived by her sons Jeffrey Rogers, Adam Rogers and partner Sean Martin, her step children Debra Frieband and husband Tod, Gary Gilfix and husband Dennis Abena, her nine grandchildren Rachel, Sydney, Emily, Alex (Anya), Tyler (Olivia), Jillian, Jared, Zachary, and Jordan (Julianne), and her great grandchildren Joshua and Hattie.

Fran's pride and joy was spending time and speaking with her family.  She enjoyed being with close friends and lived a very active life, starting every day with a bike ride.  Fran was always impeccable in her appearance as well as her values.  She was not afraid to give her opinion and always wanted the best for everyone around her.  Fran was always there for anyone in need, a wonderful great grandmother, grandmother, mother, aunt, sister, wife and friend.  Her sudden passing will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services will be held on Friday, March 31 at 12:00 at Rubin Memorial Chapel, 7340 Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, followed by a graveside service South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, followed by Shiva at 8319 Duomo Circle, Boynton Beach until 7:00pm.

Donations can be made in her honor to either charity Fran held dear to her heart, the American Diabetes Association and the National Brain Tumor Society.
