Gale Weinhouse

November 16, 1955 – January 3, 2025

Gale Weinhouse, 69, of Pembroke Pines, FL, passed away on January 3, 2025.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Gale spent most of her life there before retiring to Pembroke Pines in 2012. She worked for the New York Department of Education as a secretary for 20 years. After her retirement, Gale moved to Century Village, where she lived with her beloved mother, Ruth.

Gale's vibrant personality and zest for life were unmatched. Her radiant smile and warm presence lit up every room she entered. She loved socializing, dining out, and spending time with family and friends. Whether dancing, lounging by the pool, or finding joy in everyday moments, Gale embraced life with unmatched enthusiasm.

In retirement, she discovered a love for pickle ball and bowling, hobbies that brought her a new family of friends who supported and cherished her. Gale was an unwavering presence in the lives of her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, attending events big and small. The laughter and love she shared with them created priceless memories that will last forever.

Gale shared a special bond with her brother, Steven, and deeply missed him after his passing. She also shared an extraordinary connection with her mother, Ruth, who was not just her parent but her best friend. Gale's "Brooklyn tough" spirit, combined with her kindness and joy, made her unforgettable to all who knew her.

Gale is survived by her sister-in-law, Denise Weinhouse. She was a cherished aunt to Kimberly Church (Todd Williams), Joseph Weinhouse (Beth), Kelly Arocho (Edwin), and Sean Weinhouse, and a beloved great-aunt to Edwin III, Liam, Conor, Shane, Mackenzie, Frankie, Gabriel, Benjamin, and Madison. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Weinhouse; her mother, Ruth Weinhouse; and her brother, Steven Weinhouse.

Gale's legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
