Henry Singer, 79, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2021 after being surrounded by family and loved ones for several weeks. Son of the late Joseph and Sylvia Singer, Henry was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 16, 1942. Henry had an undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College and an MBA from Drexel University. He served in the US Coast Guard as an officer – one of his most proud achievements - and he was delighted that both of his sons-in-law served in the military as well. After being honorably discharged, Henry worked in accounting before launching his career at Merrill Lynch where he worked for 33 years as a financial advisor before retiring in 2012. He always said he didn't see it as work because he loved what he did so much. Upon retiring, he moved to Florida but couldn't wait to start working again. He volunteered with the Citizens Observer Patrol in his neighborhood and then worked at Target for nearly 5 years which reminded him of his early youth job working as a cashier for his Uncle Gus's shop.

He leaves behind his beloved companion Ann Boccaccio of Boynton Beach, FL, his adored children; Julie and husband Allen Moulder, of Douglas, MA, Jeffrey Singer of Dallas, TX and Jill and husband Kyle Kiemele, of Boston, MA; and his 4 grandchildren who brought extra joy into his life (especially because he loved babies so much), Ethan, Meghan and Ryan Moulder and Landon Kiemele. Also surviving him are the mother of his children from his previous marriage, Janice Singer, his sister, Ann Singer, and brother Norman Singer and wife Maria. He also leaves behind many cousins, among them are several ones he considered to be more like siblings. Henry was a devoted partner, father, grandpop, employee, and man of Christian faith who loved classical music, traveling, coffee, his British sitcoms and game show network (later in life). However, his greatest passion was cruising. He went on over 60 cruises and his favorite past time was doing crossword puzzles on deck 3 with the ocean breeze coming in. He simply loved being out at sea (a homage to his coast guard days) and went on several cruises even as he valiantly dealt with pancreatic cancer. A family funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Rubin Memorial Chapel at 7340 Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33427. Burial will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery Lake Worth with military honors exactly as Henry wished. "Love…it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
