It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Ebbin, a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose life was an inspiration to many. She was born on May 25, 1948, and departed from this world on September 13, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Judith enriched the lives of all of those around her. As a creative spirit, she brought beauty and innovation to everything she touched. Her passion for teaching and mentoring left an indelible mark on her students and colleagues, shaping the minds and hearts of future generations.

Judith's role as a loving wife, mother and grandmother brought joy and comfort to her family. Her dedication to her family was unparalleled and the deep love she shared with her husband and constant companion, Arthur, was beautiful to witness. She had a special bond with her daughter, son in law and granddaughters. Judith also had an immense love for dogs, finding joy and comfort in their loyal companionship over the years. Her sense of humor, quick wit and unique style were a source of comfort and happiness for her family and friends.

Judith Ebbin is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dr. Arthur Ebbin, her daughter and son-in-law, Tamar and Russell Moy, as well as her two granddaughters, Eliza and Jocelyn. Her presence will be dearly missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. In her honor, let us celebrate the beautiful and impactful life she lived.

The graveside funeral for Judith Ebbin will be held at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Queens, NY on Wednesday, September 18th at 10:30am. Shiva will be held at Tamar and Russell's home in Armonk, NY on Wednesday following the service and on Thursday from 1-4 pm and 6-8pm. There will be a minion service both evenings at 7pm. Together, let us remember Judith and the profound impact she has made on all of our lives.
