Kenneth J. Cohen (Ken) 12/18/25 – 11/14/21

Ken was born in Manhattan to Bessie and Samuel Cohen. He was a proud WW 11 Veteran, a graduate of NYU-STERN, a keen, astute, very successful business owner in NY who understood recycling long before its common usage. In retirement Ken was the founder of the City of Aventura, Florida and served two terms as Commissioner. In his second retirement he opted for a house in Boynton Beach which he loved, never having lived in a house. His wife Muriel claims these years were the happiest of her life.

Ken is survived by Muriel his most adoring wife of almost 72 years. His loved and cherished nephew and niece Peter (Leslie) Ostrow and Stacey (David Richman) Ostrow.
