It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lorraine Barbara Satz, who left this world on June 12, 2023. She was a loving mother and grandmother, cherished wife, dear friend, and a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Her departure has left an immense void in our lives, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Lorraine is survived by her husband Dr. Robert (Bob) Satz, her children David and Tracey Satz, her grandchildren Adam and Rebecca Satz and her daughter-in-law Cathy Satz. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Ethel Sack, and her brothers Cyril and Frankie Sack.

Lorraine was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 1, 1934. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Education. While at Brooklyn College, she met and fell in love with Bob Satz. They were married in Brooklyn on Christmas day in 1955 during a blizzard and could not travel for their honeymoon. Lorraine and Bob made up for that throughout their years of marriage, taking trips all over the world.

Lorraine worked as a teacher on Long Island for several years until her two children, David and Tracey, came into her life. She was so proud of being a mom and loved her children dearly, they were the joys of her life. Her world was her family and the most important thing in her life.

Lorraine will be missed for her pure and caring heart, her constant smile on her face and her unconditional love. She treated everyone with respect and always saw the good in people.

The funeral service for Lorraine will be on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Rubin Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach, FL and she will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery. In remembrance of Lorraine's life, the family has asked that any charitable donations be made in her honor to The Pap Corps – Boca Woods Chapter.
