Marcia Savich, a woman of remarkable wit, strength and determination, passed away leaving behind a legacy as vibrant and unforgettable as her personality. A comedian first and foremost Marcia brought laughter and light to those around her using her sharp humor and quick mind to connect with people from all walks of life.

A self-made woman and trailblazer, Marcia was a pioneer in woman owned businesses at a time when such achievements were far from common. She founded and operated a highly successful employment agency New York, New York in the Wall Street area, earning respect for her business acumen, resilience and vision.

In addition to her entrepreneurial success, Marcia was deeply engaged in politics. She remained passionate and active throughout her life, later dedicating her time in Florida to the Democratic Party, where she built meaningful friendship and continued to make her voice heard.

After retiring to Florida, Marcia embraced life fully, surrounding herself with a wide circle of friends and remaining socially and politically active.  Her warmth, humor, and fierce independence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Marcia was a loving and devoted aunt to Roxane, and to her children, Marielle and Sheldon.  She cherished her family deeply and took great pride in their lives and accomplishments.

Marcia Savich will be remembered as a true original – a pioneer, a leader, and above all, a woman who made people laugh.  Her spirit, courage, and legacy will not be forgotten.
