Margaret Sheppard passed away peacefully at her home in Delray Beach, FL on April 17,2023. She was 99 years young.

Mrs. Sheppard was born in Wallingford, CT. She lived for many years in New York, (Flushing, Jericho and Fresh Meadows) before becoming a Florida resident. She was a resident of Lexington Club for the last thirty-five (35) years, where she was president of the women's club and a member of the real estate committee. Here, she interviewed all new residents.

Mrs. Sheppard was predeceased by her husband Edward Sheppard of forty-two (42) years in 2004.

She is survived by her daughter Wendy Chase of Boynton Beach, FL and son Robert Mackler of San Francisco, CA, two (2) grandchildren: Jared Chase of Hartford, CT and Alison Carlson (Matt) of West Hartford CT and two (2) great grandchildren: Connor Carlson and Brooke Carlson of West Hartford.

She believed herself to be descended from royalty and lived her life that way.
