We are deeply saddened by the loss of our Mother,  Maxine Sunshine, who passed away

peacefully on November 18, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Lawrence Sunshine, Maxine will always be

remembered as a loving wife and mother to Sharon Sunshine Ireland, Marsha Sunshine

Norwood (spouse David Norwood) and Pamela Sunshine (spouse Dr Larry Stewart).  Maxine

delighted in her grandchildren, Joel Norwood and his wife Alyssa Norwood, Jason Stewart,

Melanie Stewart, and Nick Stewart and her great-grandchildren, Eliot Norwood, Clara Norwood

and Amy Norwood.  Maxine was a gifted and talented artist, writer and designer.  She was an

amazing woman---a ray of sunshine who always had kindness in her heart, often a paintbrush in

her hand and a piece of chocolate or pastry nearby to savor and enjoy.  She fiercely loved her

family, and enjoyed travelling with her husband or children, playing bridge with friends.

Maxine was always learning something new.  She had a unique perspective on life …to treat

people as you wish to be treated.  She also was a loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Maxine's family thanks the compassionate and loving staff of Arden Courts Delray Beach and

the aides who took personal care of her through her journey,
