Our dear mother, Penelope (Penny) Paikin, 83, of Delray Beach Florida, passed away on November 7, 2022. Penny was a loving wife and mother, devoted grandmother, and loyal friend.

Penny was born on October 25, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York.  After Penny graduated from Queens College with a degree in Education, she taught in the New York public school system before moving to Rockland County.

In 1961 she married Arthur Paikin and remained happily married for 57 years before Arthur's passing on November 7, 2018.  Penny and Arthur had three daughters, Amy McKenna, Lori Paikin and Michelle Rocker, their three greatest joys.

Penny went on to open Creative Corners, a nursery and early childhood education school, and influenced hundreds of children's young minds. She later established her second career in bookkeeping.

Penny's passion was playing bridge and she achieved the prestigious level of Gold Life Master.

She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, Patrick McKenna, Pete Golub and Dave Rocker, her three grandchildren, Matt Golub, Sammi Rocker, and Josh Rocker and her beloved companion and dear friend Pierre LaPlante.

Private services will be held on Monday November 14, 2022, at Sharon Gardens Valhalla NY.
