Philip H. Gold, 05/20/1928 - 06/06/2026.

Lived a long full life, and passed 2 1⁄2 weeks after his 98th birthday and visit from his son, Howard. Predeceased by almost four years by his devoted partner and loving wife of 69 years, Anita. Survived by his children Lisa Cooper (Bob) of San Anselmo CA, Howard Gold (Andrea Blome) of Ann Arbor MI and David Gold of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren Brendan Cooper (Michele) of Austin TX and Kira Wolfe (Justin) of San Rafael CA; great grandsons Jesse and Sal Cooper and great granddaughters Harper and Teagan Wolfe.

Great-granddaughter baby Teagan Goldie Wolfe, born 3 days after Phil's passing, was named to honor both Phil and Anita Gold, not knowing that Phil had passed (so as not to further stress his granddaughter, the expectant mother.) It is a powerful testament to the Hebrew word, beshert, that they missed each other on this physical earth by just 3 days, but The Gold's legacy lives on through their great-granddaughter.

A pharmacist and owner of an independent drugstore in the Detroit area for nearly 30 years, Phil worked tirelessly to support his family and provide them with all the good things in life. He was a devoted husband and wonderful father.

Phil and Anita moved from the Detroit area to Boca in the mid-1980's and loved the South Florida lifestyle. They were long-time active members of Boca Pointe County Club, where Phil played "Daily Doubles" tennis for many years, and Phil and Anita enjoyed Club activities such as poolside and athletic center, travel, entertainment and social events.

After Anita passed, Phil bravely lived out his life without her, in the comfort of his longtime Boca Pointe home, thanks to his caring, professional and devoted caregivers, Geeta and Cindy.

We thank him for all that he has done for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will miss him.
