Dr. Robert Feingold of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sept. 11, 2024. He was born in West Roxbury, MA on Oct. 22, 1940, to George and Beatrice Feingold. He graduated from both Brookline High School and Hebrew College at the same time then went on to graduate from Tufts University and Tufts Dental School.

He entered the US Air Force as a captain and married Helene Braverman in 1964. They had two sons: Geoffrey and Russell. After the service he returned to MA and practiced general dentistry in Framingham and Wellesley. He was passionate about Judaism and Jewish organizations and active in the Jewish Federation of the Boston area, Israeli Bonds, AIPAC, Temple Israel, Temple Emanuel, Temple Mishkan Tefilah and served on the board of the Hebrew College. In 1982 he volunteered to work in Israel in the kibbutz of Rosh HaNikra.

When he retired from dentistry, he settled in Boynton Beach and became active in Temple Beth Kodesh. It was here that he met Annette Bernstein, his devoted partner for the last nine years. Bob had a full and active life enjoying golf, squash and racquetball, even running the Boston Marathon. He is survived by his partner Annette Bernstein; son Geoffrey, daughter-in-law Deborah, grandsons Matthew and Andrew; son Russell; Helene Feingold; brother Arthur and sister-in-law Adrienne.

His funeral will take place on Friday, September 13 at 1:45 PM at Rubin Memorial Chapel, 7340 Boynton Beach Blvd followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. The family will observe Shiva immediately after the service until 5:00PM in Hunters Run at the Southport Club House and on Sunday and Monday from 1-5 PM and 7-9 PM with services at 7:15 PM at the Feingold/Bernstein residence, 28 Glenns Drive West.
