It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved Ron Marino passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, in Boynton Beach, surrounded by his loving wife, nieces and close friends.

Ron was survived by his best friend and wife, Donna Marino. They shared 50 wonderful years of marriage where they had many laughs, memories, and much time spent with family and friends.  Ron leaves behind his son, daughter and was a proud grandfather of four grandchildren.  He leaves behind his African Grey bird ET who will keep his spirit alive every time he talks sounding exactly like him and his new puppy Maxie who he got for Donna knowing she would need some comfort and company in his absence. Ron will also meet his Molly girl in the gates of heaven.

Ron was a helmsman in the Navy and received several metals of honor. He was in the Korean war where he served our country.  While most officers wore their jumpsuits Ron had his specially made into a cool, fashionable jacket that he wore with pride in true Ron fashion.

Most of Ron's career was spent being the "boss" and for those who knew him he truly was the boss!  His true passion was his love for owning several restaurants and lounges where his friends, family and his favorite customers would gather. Beyond his professional life, Ron was an enthusiastic artist in every way.  Not only did he paint his house a different color every year, or paint a mural on the wall free hand, he loved making decorative pots that most asked, "where did you buy those?"

Ron was a die-hard sports fan and loved watching the Mets and Giants in his recliner with his head set on and the TV blasting on volume 75.  The neighbors loved stopping by and chatting because Ron always brought something witty to any conversation.  He also loved giving things away to everyone no matter the cost, size, or sentimental value. Dancing the mambo, cha cha and any Latin dance was his thing but even more so making sure you were dancing to the rhythm and not the beat.
Ron's memory will always remain dear to us. Thank you for keeping Ron and our family in your thoughts during this difficult time. There will be a service for Ron on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:30 am at Rubin Memorial Chapel, 7340 Boynton Beach Blvd. Boynton Beach Fl. followed by a service at the South Florida National Cemetery - 6501 State Road 7,  Lake Worth Fl.
