Obituary:

Sondra Kaplan (87) passed away peacefully at home with her loving family surrounding her.  Sondra was born in Chicago, IL and although she lived in several other places, she always considered Chicago to be her home in her heart.  Sondra was fortunate enough to spend almost 50 years married to Alan Kaplan, the love of her life, until his passing.  Sondra loved animals, traveling, and art, but found the most joy spending time with her family.  She is survived by her 2 devoted daughters: Leslie (Fred) Klitz and Elise (Ira) Steinberg and her 3 beloved Grandsons: Parker (Tatum) Steinberg, Maxwell Steinberg, and Corey Klitz.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Service will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park, 7/26/2024 at 1:00 p.m.  In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be sent to Peggy Adam's Animal Rescue.
